Lighting the way for a greener future.

For more than 45 years, Lutron Electronics has provided lighting control solutions that save energy and enhance the spaces in which we live and work. Now, in collaboration with the Green Schools Alliance and Council for Educational Facility Planners (CEFPI), Lutron is taking this commitment to a new level with Greenovation—a holistic program designed to help schools across the country energize education and inspire action. Curriculum-Based Resources

Correlated to state standards and aligned with the Balance LC™ classroom lighting system, our exclusive light and energy curriculum gives teachers the power to practice what they teach. Our four age-appropriate modules provide a variety of interactive tools for real-time, experiential learning both in and out of the classroom.

Online Social Network

Join the Greenovation Nation! With our secure, moderated online social network, students and teachers have a unique opportunity to collaborate with other classrooms around the country. Greenovation Nation provides direct access to program participants for contributing green ideas, sharing district successes and a healthy dose of constructive competition.

Community Outreach

Greenovation may start in the classroom—but its impact will ultimately be felt in your entire community. Student enthusiasm is notoriously contagious, and our community outreach programs are designed to leverage this energy with dramatic effect, from sustainable fundraisers to community challenges to science fairs and beyond.
